So, I was thrilled when DraftSight introduced their version, Custom Blocks, to the latest release. I was always a huge fan of Dynamic Blocks, after all, they can eliminate the need to have separate blocks for each variation, size, or orientation you might need. When you open your newly converted Custom Block in the Block Editor, you’ll see all the tools you’ll need to apply the advanced functionality you’ve come to expect, all within the newly expanded Edit Block contextual ribbon tab. To do so, simply select the block, right-click, and select Convert to Custom Block from the pop-up menu. DraftSight will begin.Īs illustrated below, the aforementioned procedure will add a new entry for SWActivation to the Registry Keys.To edit an imported Dynamic Block, you must first convert it into a DraftSight Custom Block. When you launch DraftSight, the Activation Popup as seen below will appear. (Right Click on SWActivation and Click on Delete)Ĭlose the Registry Editor. As demonstrated below, delete SWActivation. (Just like we did above).Īs previously demonstrated, locate the SWActivation. As seen below, type regedit and click OK. Method 3: Deleting the SWActivation folder You only need to wait for the email to arrive and complete the activation before you can reopen Draftsight and it will function properly. When sending an email for the first time, it should indicate that it has done so, and when you click “OK,” it will crash. It will operate normally and be activated when you reopen. It will simply crash after you click activate if you have already activated it. When prompted to activate, simply enter your details in the usual way. Paste the data value from step 3 into both of those new string entries for both of those new string values.Next, add two additional string entries with the names Software/office/editor/versionII/Green and Software/office/editor/versionII/Loop.Open it when you’re ready, then copy the data value. A string named Software/office/editor/versionII/ should exist (REG SZ). ![]()
